The Kelso Bikefest 'Custom Bike Show' was sponsored this year by 'Motorcycle Law Scotland', 'Fat Skeleton' and 'Aquote Bike Insurance' and supported by 'House of Custom' who organised the Custom Bike Show along with Frank Dickinson Regional Rep for the BMF. The organisers would like to sincerely thank our sponsors for their support. The format for the Custom Bike Show changed this year with the show running throughout the weekend and held in a marquee, many thanks to the 'Mulberry Group' for supplying the marquee which provided cover for the bikes on display and allowed visitors the opportunity to view the custom bikes under cover.
48 bikes entered this year for the 'Custom Bike Show' with a further 4 bikes displayed by 'House of Custom'. The standard of entries was magnificent with many top end custom bikes from all over Scotland and the North East of England, many thanks to all owners who entered their bike into the show.
There were Trophies and £100 prize money for each of the class winners and a Trophy and £200 for the Best-in-Show winner with the following bikes taking the honours:
Many thanks to Tam and Ian who helped Jimmy with the judging.
We look forward to next year when we aim to improve on what was an excellent custom this year.
Jimmy
