The second show in the BMF’s season sees the party heading North to the Borders Union Showground at Kelso. This is a great event for those who enjoy camping (and for those who prefer the day visit!) because of the fantastic setting.
The BMF Kelso Bikefest brings bikes, entertainment, music and above all great fun to the Borders region and the surrounding roads lend themselves to be explored.
For those camping there’ll be live music on Friday & Saturday evenings. There is of course the very well attended Best in Show display of bikes which is always a great spectacle with good cash prizes going to class winners. They’ll be a fun fair, plenty of trade stalls and an awful lot of bikes!
And continuing for 2013– Club Games which will have a knock-out round on Saturday and the Grand final on Sunday.
A beer tent with live music (in addition to the evening bands in the main hall)
Please note for health and safety reasons we cannot allow vehicles access to the campsites after 10pm at the may show and kelso and after 8pm at tailend. There will be a holding area close to the gates where temporary camping can be set up until the morning or campers can walk their equipment through the campsite. We will provide hand carts that can be borrowed for this purpose.
